PRONAL STP bladders are installed within the power transformer oil conservator to protect the oil against external
contamination.
When oil level varies, it autonomously inflates with atmosphere pressure so as to compensate oil volume variation.
Thus, dielectric oil is never in contact with external air & protected against pollutants.
Dielectric oil quality is paramount for the power transformer reliability. STP bladder is a first prevention system.
